GC Myers is a painter from the Finger Lakes region of New York. He came to painting quite by accident, as a result of an accident that occurred while building his home in the early 1990’s. Since that time, his recognizable landscapes, known for their strong colors and moods, are collected widely. He does several one-man exhibitions each year at the galleries which represent his work.

I found this place via AlphaInventions (which I still don’t fully understand). What a pleasant surprise to randomly stumble across one of my favorite artist’s blog on WordPress! Whenever I’m in Alexandria I make a point of stopping into the Principle Gallery to see what you’re up to. Thanks for take the time to post your thoughts on your work – very interesting.

Thank you, I never knew you had actually saw it. I can add you to my blog roll if you like I have a several art and photography blogs as friends. I am always looking for inspiration yet I rarely know whose work I am using I tend to rummage through Myspace comments. I think your images are beautifully sincere and haunting.
